    Alexander smiled to himself as he took a seat in his usual corner of the café. A couple came and sat near him but did nothing but complain about the cold. A few minutes later, like clockwork, she walked in.  Today she wore a pair of leggings with an oversized sweater. She ordered a small coffee and a muffin, then walked over to her usual seat which was by the window a table away from him. She got comfortable then pulled out a book and started reading. She must have finished her last book last night because today she was reading a new one. It looked like some murder mystery that he had never heard of. She ate her breakfast quietly. On
